Default AS2005: how many concurrent users? - 01-10-2006 , 11:54 AM

Hi,

AS2000 is not scalable like a database can.
What are the changes in AS2005?
How many concurrent users can be supported on it?
(if we compare same hardware and cubes between AS2000 and 2005)

Thanks.

Jerome.

Not sure what is your problem. I have heard of large installations
using AS 2000. How many users do you plan to deploy - few hundred it
depends on appropriate hardware. You cannot expect to deploy AS 2000
for a few hundred users on a 1 CPU and 1 GB RAM server. From what I
have heard AS 2000 scales better than some of the ROLAP solutions out
there due to its MOLAP architecture.
