AS2005: Dynamic security, second question... -

Hi again...
another question about dynamic security...
what is the performance impact if my security cube will contain 2
dimensions:
100 000 customers
15 000 employees
14 000 employees can access between 20 to 200 customers
1 000 employees can access between 1 000 to 20 000 customers
only a small number of employees can access all the customer data, and these
users are associated to a dedicated role with no security applied.
the visual total will not be checked. the restriction is about the customer
name attribute for confidentiality.
has you can see we plan to have a lot of users!
do you think that accessing AS2005 is a good option?
or we have to disallow this and provide only reports with SQL statements?
the reports we have to provide are like this:
* the user select a product or a store (or other filter regarding the
report)
* detail information of the customers authorized is listed
* summary data of these customers + summary data at the store level, region
level and entire company level (for comparison)
we can provide mixed queries in our report, but I'll prefer to provide only
1 type of query.
we also have to think about a larger deployment. another client has 600
000customers and more then 30 000 employees.
ideally, the same reports / cubes / security model should works for this
client.
what are your recommendations?
thanks.
