Default AS2005: Aggregation errors in VS but not in management studio... - 03-10-2006 , 10:38 PM

Hi,

I try to define the aggregations for my partition and I receive this error:
Errors in the metadata manager. The system assembly cannot be modified by a
user request.
To restart the process, resolve the problem, and then click start.

this error appears when I click the "start" button in the aggregation
wizard.
the same steps in the management studio works fine!!!

Same error using the usage based optimization wizard.

any idea?
how to identify the cause of the error?
what is this "system assembly"?

thanks

jerome.

ok, I have found.

In my solution I have a custom DLL
when I remove this DLL I can aggregate the partition!!!!
but the DLL is used 1 time for test purpose and use in an ACTION!!!

So I really don't understand the relationship between the DLL and the
partition aggregation error.
