Does anyone know if there are issues in restoring archives to a server that
has a prior service pack or no service pack. The server I create the
archive on is SP3 I can restore it to other machines with SP3 with no
problem may be even some sp2 machines haven't tested that, but if I restore
it to a machine that has a fresh analysis services install with no service
packs (not my idea it was a potential customer and I am unable to dictate
what service pack they have) the database restores but is unprocessed. I
can process the database and everything works fine, but moving the source
data of the cube to their server can be a hassle when you have limited
amount of time.
