Hi, do you know if there is any patch or update available for the HTTP access in AS2005? MS says that a patch will be released, but there is 2 months now, and I don't see anything! For information,m I have followed these steps: http://www.microsoft.com/technet/pro.../httpasws.mspx but the access doesn't works. thanks if you have any news to share about this issue ;-) Jerome. |

I'm not sure what issue you are running into -- there was a patch released about 1 month ago to fix a couple of issues in HTTP access. If you are running into the same issue then you can contact CSS to get the patch. Can you be more specific about what problem you are encountering? its the one allready discussed in the XMLA newsgroup (2006-01-06) I'm receiving a DTD prohibited error or the access simply doesn't works. I try anonymous only, basic and NTLM authentication on x32 and x64 servers. and sometimes the access works fine, but when I save / reopen my document the connection doesn't works anymore! NTLM authentication become critical for us in a near future (april) when we'll release our new version based on AS2005. 80% of our targeted users are outside the network and HTTP access is important. (some use basic authentication, some other NTLM) we'll contact the support if the patch you talk about is not available for "free" download. Yes, the DTD prohibited issues should be fixed in the hotfix. Ask the support person to contact me if they need information about the fix.
