This is driving me nuts:

Within my company, I try to connect from excel to analyses server (2000 all
service packs are installed)

Because the users that have to access the cube are not in the same domain I
want to allow anonymous access.



I can make a connection to a test server. (By enabling the internal guest
account on the server and allowing that account to access the cube.)



But in my production server (which is a primary domain controller), the
users are in active directory, and allowing the gust account to a cube did
not work here. (I get the "unspecified error" when i try to connect)



Probably i forget something like firewall, allowing anonymous access to the
server, enabling a guest account or something like that. I would not know
were to look.
