Default Analysis Services file migration - 10-04-2004 , 03:14 PM

Hi all,

I had a trial version of AS run out on my machine, so I
copied all my AS related files to a production box. I can
actually see the cubes through my Excel connection to AS,
but I cannot see the cubes on my licensed AS client.
Seeing as I did not create CAB files of these AS
databases, is there anyway I can restore them to the AS
client just based on the files themselves?

Thanks,

Mark

You must archive the cube to get all of the repository entries for the cube.
The runtime engine only needs the data itself -- but Analysis Manager (and
any utility using DSO) also needs the repository entries as well.
