Good Afternoon All,
I have a dimension in which the bottom level siblings name is not
unique within its parent but the member Keys are unique. Is it possible
to have two member names that are the same name within the same parent.
Top Level Grouping
Name 1 Name 2 Name 3
Where Name 1 and Name 3 are the same even though there keys are different.
This type of data is causing an error when I try to process the
dimension, is this possible or do I have to change my data and make not
only the bottom level keys unique but the bottom level names unique as well.
Analysis Server Error: Detected two sibling members with the same name

I should have kept looking....there is a property on the dimension
itself that deterimines if the names can be duplicate or not for all the
levels. Setting this to true fixes the error and allows it to process.

But users may have hard time to pick the right item if two items have the same name under same parent
So it is ideal to differeciate them.
