Has anyone else had problems installing Analysis Services and
PivotTable Services on the same machine? I had a Windows XP machine
which already had PivotTables Services installed and when I installed
Analysis Services, PTS stopped working. It appears that they share
some of the same files.

Anyone know a workaround for this?

I have Analysis Services and
PivotTable Services running on the same machine.

I think Analysis Services replaces MDAC with an older
version. You should be fine if you open your MS Office
install routine and click on "repair office" or sth. like
that.

Office will reinstall the MDAC driver needed. If you have
run a SP3 update on the Analysis Server, make sure that
you installed ptslite or full.
