I need to install only client side of the Analysis Services on 2003 Server or XP to be able to use DSO interface to communicate with an Analysis Services server on another machine. I followed guidance from the “REDISTRIBUTABLE COMPONENTS” (redist.txt) document included into SP3, but some steps are missing. (I run ptsfull.exe and then loaded and registered DSO libraries).
If somebody has experience in this type of distribution I would appreciate help.
