Default Analysis Services 2000 with SQL Server 2005 data source - 09-28-2006 , 11:47 AM

Hiya,

Can anyone tell me if Analysis Services 2000 is compatible with a SQL Server
2005 data source?

Has anyone experienced any problems with this setup?

Thanks
Wendy

Hi as far as I know, thera are two separate servers, so there shouldnt
be any problem with any data source. You can use whatever you want as a
data source even Access or any other database engine with proper
drivers ODBC, OLE DB etc ...

regards
Peter

I couldn't configure this scenario. When I tried to connect to SQL2005,
AS2000 displayed an error (I don't remember it exactly).
So, I have experienced problems with this configuration.
