Default Analysis Server HTTP connection - 10-15-2003 , 12:00 PM

I have SQL 2000 Server, Analysis Server and IIS installed on the same
Windows 2000 server. Everytime I try to Register a server for a
connection based on HTTP, I get an error "Object not found". I have been
scanning all Microsoft and usergroup sites but no information is
available. Did anyone have a similar problem? What am I doing wrong?

Did you create a virtual directory on the Analysis Server machine and copy
the msolap.asp file in the directory. Also, this only works with Enterprise
Edition of Sql Server. Take a look at article 279289 in the knowledge base.

I looked at the article 279489 followed the steps as mentioned there. If
I copy the msolap.asp in the wwwroot folder and then try to register
server, it displays "Connecting to Server" message and just hangs
forever.
We are using SQL Server 2000 Developer's Edition. As per microsoft that
is same as the Enterprise Edition except the licensing requirements.
