Default Analysis Server and BSM 2005 - 12-21-2005 , 03:36 PM

Hi,

I built a Scorecard using BSM 2005 connected to an OLAP Cube. Using the
scorecard reports, I created a Pivot Chart with data from the cube. Doing
this, i created a .odc connection that is stored on My data sources folder.
The problem I have is that this report is only available for browsing from my
computer, and not from others. How can I configure a connection to the OLAP
Server that is available for all users connected from other computers, like a
System DSN, but for OLAP.

I believe PivotTables and PivotCharts store the datasource details
internally and will not reference the .odc file once they have been
created. Do you know if you users are set up in OLAP roles that have
privileges to see the cubes?

You could test by trying to setup a Pivot Table in Excel.
