Hello Everyone!

I hope someone can help!

Everything was fine until I installed Visual Studio dot net (orignal) on my
server that has Analysis Services sp 3 running on it.

Since then, I have been having problems viewing the cubes on the server.

I get the error

Unable to Retreive Children: Object or Provider is not capable of
performing requested operation.

I googled the error, and I found mention of Visual Studio installing a bum
mdac that causes this. Said there was a fix with mdac 2.7 beta.

HOWEVER, I have mdac 2.8 installed on the machine. How do I roll back? Are
the changes in the mdac 2.7 fix included in the 2.8?

Someone, please help! This is a production machine (I never should have put
VS on it).... I can not afford the down time to rebuild from scratch
