Default Analysis manager wierdism - 07-31-2003 , 06:39 PM

As the local administrator or as a domain admin, if I view a cube with
anaylsis manager, the data is presented in the right-side pane of the
window. As a normal user, I have to right-click the cube and select
"Browse data" then the cube is displayed in a seperate window. As the
admin account, when looking at the view drop-down menu, nothing is
selects except "HTML". As the mormal user, "Detail" and "HTML" are
selected, but detail cannot be unselected.

How can I get the normal user to view cube without the need to select
"Browse data"?

Thanks in advance,

wazzu

Don't quite get the problem - why would normal users browse data in Analysis
Services ? You should give them client tools ala Pivottable's or 3trd party
progams to do this ?

Pivottable's can be divided into loggin on from excel or using the
pivottable web component which you can place on a web page - you can use
frontpage or access to do this.
