Default Analysis manager strange issue with calculated members... - 12-15-2004 , 09:04 AM

Hi,

Sometimes analysis manager doesn't play correctly with my calculated
measures.
For example, I've a formula which apply a particular formula at the year
level and another calculation at the month level.

The year level is not calculated until I drill down to the month level!
then the year level is calculated.

and, some other times, if I scrool my grid (always in analysis manager) and
the calculated measure disappear on the screen... if I scroll again to go
back to see the measure, then I see the #err instead-of the value!!!!

sometimes I receive an infinite recursion at the year level, but after a
drill down to the month the error disappear.
these type of errors appear more when my formula results are empty or null.

if I access the cubes through excel for example, all works always fine!!!

any idea?

thanks.

Jerome.

Could you send a sample of your formula?

I've changed my formulas, the results are not what I want exactly for the
moment, but I work on it.

when I'll see the problem again I'll send it to you
