Default Analysis Manager can't see servers - 07-25-2005 , 10:09 AM

We added Analysis Services to an existing SQL Server last night. When I
start Analysis Manager I see that it has the Console->Analysis Servers
folders, but the Analysis Server folder is empty. Right clicking on
Analysis Servers brings up a menu that contains no AS menu items. The only
reference to AS is About Analysis Services, which shows it as version
8.0.760. But since there are no AS menu items and it doesn't show any
servers (even though SQL Server Service Manager definitely shows AS is
running), it looks to me like Analysis Manager isn't loading correctly.

Can anyone give me a pointer on what is wrong and how I can correct it?

Thanks!

Never mind...fixed by manually registering the DLLs for Analysis Manager. I
just hope this is the only thing that was messed up during setup.
