Hi,
I have Analysis Manager(SP2) connected to SQL Server
(SP3a). OS is Windows 2000 advanced Server(SP3). Active
Directory Service is activated in this Server. I am the
adminisrator of the Server and also my name is inside the
OLAP Administrators group.

We havent updated Analysis Manger to SP3. This is because
once we update, users will not be able to access the
system because of security permissions. Currently
checking this with microsoft.

One of my job (this job was working for a year) hang
last week...after trouble shooting we found, During
the "processing database" analaysis manager waiting
longer when the initialization steps executes. Later we
found that out of the 26 dimension, if we remove one
dimension (say Finacial date) everything will work. This
particular seems to have some problem. Checked data and
also recreated the dimension...added to the
cube...processed database ...still hangs...

There is no calculated member involver or a virtual cube
in this database.. only 26 dimension and 5 measures.
Storage is MOLAP.

I tried the same data and cube in another server which is
also have the active directory activated and same
configuration as above. Analysis Manager is Service pack
2. Here surprisingly it is working.

If anyone have any solution please advice me...Thanks in
advance for any help regarding this.
