Default aggregations prefix and partitions merge - 07-18-2005 , 08:41 AM

Hey all
Partition wizard of AS recomands that diferent partitions will have different
aggregations prefix.
Can this prevent later the merging of these partitions?
One of the conditions for partitions merge is that they have identical
aggregations
design. Does this include aggregation prefix??
TIA

You'll be OK, when partitions are merged, the naming is taken care of for
you, even though the prefixes were previously different. The prefixes aid
really in hooking them up to a partition. But you are correct in that the
aggregations themselves (which levels, etc) must be the same.

Good luck.
