Default Aggregation in Virtual Cube - 11-20-2003 , 07:57 AM

Hello,

When I create a virtual cube, does it stores the aggregations physically in
the disk or calculates on the fly?

Thanks,

Ajit Singh

There is no data storage for virtual cubes -- queries are shuttled to the
underlying physical cube(s). Only when the aggregated value is not in the
physical cube does the agg occur on-the-fly.
