Default Aggregation Creation - 03-15-2005 , 01:29 PM

I've noticed that during the aggregation creation portion of the cube
processing, the CPU utilization is very low... ~1-5%. Is that normal? It
seems like it takes awhile for the aggs to be built and without any CPU
utilization, I'm thinking some sort of tuning is possible.

Thanks-
Malcolm

You might review many of the best practices outlined in:
http://www.microsoft.com/technet/pro.../ansvcspg.mspx
There are entire sections on optimizing processing.
