SQL 2000 Analysis Services step by step by Reed Jacobson is good.

I found step by step to be rather entry level myself

I am reading fast track to MDX which I find to be definately more rigorous
and contains many classic cubes you will face in the business place. You
will also get a great amount of information on the MDX language.

There is a book called
(SQL Server Developper's Guide to OLAP with Analysis
Services).
I found that to be a very good book. It covers MDX, DSO
with a lot of examples.
