Greetings! We are migrating from AS2000 to AS2005.
When we worked in AS2000, we connected to Informix Database (where there are
the fact tables and dimensionals) with a ODBC driver.
As we are migrating to AS2005, papers said that ODBC is not supported.
The issue is, that the organization want to evaluate that if is better to
migrate the fact and dimensional tables to SQL Server 2005.

Do you know how better is having tables in SQL2005 than in Informix?

You must know that Transactional tables are in Informix, and today, DTS fill
the dimensional and fact tables from Informix-Informix. And AS2000 process
cubes accessing to Informix.

I want some comparisson how is better having this tables in SQL2005 than in
Informix.
