Default adomd .net to VB6 - 11-07-2005 , 04:06 AM

Can you connect with VB6 to ADOMD.NET. If so does anynone have some
examples? Assistance is appreciated. Thanks.

Why would you want to?

Basically, VB6 to ADOMD.NET would do COM to .NET interop all the time --
which would affect performance. Why wouldn't you just use the COM ADOMD
object model instead?

Thanks,
Akshai

Correct me if I am wrong, but new objects including KPI's, named sets and
data mining would are only within the adomd .net!

In the object model, yes. But you can still use schema rowsets to get the things that you want in ADOMD...

Thanks,
