Description
DSP Portal Edition (DSP PE) presents Business Intelligence information
in SharePoint Web Parts focusing on showing overviews as simple graphical
signals. The software enables users to utilize SharePoint to provide vital
business information to all employees. DSP PE displays key metrics giving
decision makers an early and intuitive grasp of business trends and easy
business analysis performance. This is done with graphs such as Trend Arrow,
Bar Line and Bar Chart. DSP PE allows easy to use personalization by letting
users create Web Parts analyzing their own area of interest. Using the DSP
Web Part Wizard users can easily create new Web Parts focusing on their
special area of interest and with a profile supporting their tasks. This can
be done without deep computer knowledge DSP PE supports collaboration
enabling Web Parts and analysis to be e-mailed directly from the Web Parts.
DSP gives business professionals an easy tool to perform personal analysis
and to save the results as "Web Part" that can be e-mailed to another user,
who can launch the Web Part from within an e-mail client for further
analysis or decision making. This way, DSP PE provides for easy and improved
collaborative analysis in order to make timely decisions. DSP PE uses Data
Warehouse (OLAP) information from SQL Analysis Services and is tightly
integrated with SharePoint and other market leading corporate portals and
analysis tools.
