Hello,

We want to access to our Analysis Server using an alias
(and not the default server name that includes the
machine name). Is there any way to define such alias so
that it appears in the list of Analysis Servers to
register through Analysis Manager ?
For SQL-Server, it works within the Client Network
Utility to avoid giving the server machine name, but we
don't know if this is feasible with AS.

Could you please help ?
