Default Accelerator - how to put something that isn't a dimension or a measure in the fact table - 08-13-2003 , 12:51 PM

I'm trying out the Accelerator and have a thing going with my patner - I
have told him that I can build a dw in a day using this tool - admitted I've
spent some time examing it. However today i got a little bit disappointed
because I could'nt find anywhere in the excel workbook to put fields that
are to be used in a drill through which are not dimensions or measures -
such as voucher (it's a finance cube)

Think i've figured it out how to do this but it seems a bit long
haired....much easier if I could have told this in the workbook.

1) examing the import-format-files and putting a new field in the format
file
2) adding the new field to the fact table in both the Staging and the
Subject Matter Database
3) changing the fact table stored procedure sql sentence to include this new
field
4) opening the dts update script for the fact table and adjusting the
transform data task to include this new column

Anybody out they who can confirm this ... ?
