Default About Unique name - 09-01-2006 , 09:51 AM

All,

When I create a Parent/Child dimension the unique name of a member is:

[Dimension].[Hierarchy].&[Key]

When I create a regular dimension the unique name of a member is:

[Dimension].[Hierarchy].[Level].&[Key]

Is there any way to use regular dimensions and have unique name convention
as for parent/child dimension:
[Dimension].[Hierarchy].&[Key]
Thank you in advance,

Best Regards

Lionel

Hi Jeje,

Thank you for the information, however this does not provide the required
result in our case.

With that option we obtain:
[Dimension].[Hierarchy].[MemberName]

Where we would like to obtain
[Dimension].[Hierarchy].&[Key]

Any idea?
Thx

Lionel
