Default 3rd Party Olap Viewer - 08-23-2004 , 01:42 PM

I have many Olap Reports that are unprintable due to the
limitations of Internet Explorer. Reports that are 3 or
more pages print as blank reports. Does anyone know of any
3rd Party Olap Viewers that can be used to view print Olap
Reports from MS Analysis Services Databases?

Excel works like a CHARM

so does SQL Server Reporting Services.

Not sure whether is appropriate to do this in a Microsoft
site, but Cognos PowerPlay 7.1 can view MS Analysis
Services database with very nice front end features.

On the other hand, do try out the Business Intelligence
Addins for Excel 2003 available for download from
microsoft site.

I would also look at Decision Support Panel. Has lots of
functionality to display info in SharePoint (which comes
as WSS for FREE with Windows Server 2003) and provides a
drill-through client for slice and dice.
