Hi all,

I have a new cube that reads all fact table records, creates partitions than
fails just before commiting with the error below.


MdxScript(HE ODS) (17, 11) Parser: The syntax for ';' is incorrect.

Any suggestions would be appreciated in advance.

hi,

most probably your MDX syntax is incorrect or you have used the ; where it
is not required. In the Deployment widow follow the deployment steps to
identify the failing process / step.

There is a syntax error in your MDX script somewhere (Probably and extra
semi-colon). If you open the calculations tab of your "HE ODS" cube you
should find an error at line 16, column 10. If you have a look in the
Error List window it should tell you the exact location.
