Default help 16 bit exe running slowly from xp_commandshell - 03-23-2005 , 08:51 AM





I'm having problems with the performance of a 16-bit exe called via
xp_commandshell .. basically it's taking 100% of the processor time, however
when run from a command prompt it's only using around 30%. Is there any
functionality I can use such as modifying the programs idle sensitivity on
the property sheet ... does SQL Server 2000 take any notice of the pif ?
