Default Yukon DTS features/differences? - 09-01-2004 , 09:07 AM

I am interested in determining what the key features/differences are in
Yukon's DTS compared to SQL Server 2000. We are building an application
today in a combination of C#.net and calling DTS packages as apprropriate
primarily because DTS seems kinda hard to program. I'd like to see if the
whole app could be written in DTS so that it eases the maintenance burdens,
etc etc.

Thanks for any info....

Best,

William.

There is some info on the MS site -
Overview of Business Intelligence and Data Warehousing in SQL Server 2005
(http://www.microsoft.com/technet/pro...e/dwsqlsy.mspx
)

We have some articles on 2005 available, which will higlight a couple of the
features-
SQL Server 2005 (Yukon)

The best option would of course be to get hold of Beta 2. (Some) MSDN
customers have access to Beta 2, and more options fgoing foward, I think SQL
PASS will be giving it away and their conference as well.

If you want more let me know.
