I am using MS SQL Enterprise Manager Vers. 8, on Win XP. Quote from SQL Server Books Online: "You access DTS Designer through SQL Server Enterprise Manager, through the Data Transformation Services node of the console tree." However, the Data Transformation Services node of the console tree only contains: Local Packages, Meta Data Services Packages and Meta Data. Many thanks in advance for your help. Dan |

Dan Under Local Packages or Meta Data Services Packages, open (double-click) a package to see the package in the designer, or right-click one of the two nodes above and select new package. What you get is a new package in the designer. -- Darren Green (SQL Server MVP) DTS - http://www.sqldts.com PASS - the definitive, global community for SQL Server professionals http://www.sqlpass.org |
