Default What tool to use to debug ActiveX scripts - 09-01-2003 , 09:15 PM

Using SQL 2000 on Windows 2000 server (serv pack 4)

I have placed STOP statements in my ActiveX code and I expected some sort
of window to open to allow me to debug my ActiveX script in DTS.
This does NOT happen.

I have searched the web for info but all I see are articles on how to debug
ASP page script.

How does one debug ActiveX script in a DTS package? There must be some
tool available.

Download and install the following,
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?
FamilyID=2f465be0-94fd-4569-b3c4-
dffdf19ccd99&DisplayLang=en

Also, make sure you have Just-In_Time Debugging enabled in
Enterprise Manager. To check this, Right-Click on the Data
Transformations Folder.
