Default Weird Issue with DTS & EM - 06-22-2006 , 12:25 PM

SQL Server 2000 3a
DB2 Client tools version 7.2

I have a DTS package created by someone else. It has a transformation where
a Mainframe db2 database is the source. I have an odbc connection set up.
The destination is a sql server 2000 table. When I attempt to open the
transformation bar the entire Enterprise manager shuts down.

If I run the dts on a different box with the same config (sql & Db2) it
works fine.

The company has not approved service pack 4 for sql server yet

Any thoughts?

Hello TMan,

I presume the server on which opening the package is fine is also the same
config as the "bad server". If that is the case then I would initially suspect
the install of the DB2 client.
