A program (such as C#) can access VSAM on an IBM mainframe
via HIS (Host Integration Server). Why can't DTS access
VSAM via HIS? DTS can connect to it, but it cannot read
it.

If anyone from Microsoft responds, you can contact me
directly. My customer was planning to use DTS with HIS
for data interfaces to and from the mainframe. Looks like
the best solution is to write software, use MQSeries, MSMQ
and that bridge product. (FTP type solutions are not
reliable enough.)
