Default Using the DTS Wizard with a View - 02-06-2004 , 01:08 PM

Can I use the DTS Wizard to create a package to import filtered data from a
view that I have access to on another server? I do not have access to the
tables that underlie the view and when I try to use the Query to Specify
data to transfer option in the wizard, I do not see the views (it looks like
the wizard only supports tables). What am I doing wrong?

There is nothing shown in my list. In the Select Columns step of the wizard,
the database is shown, but no views or tables are shown. In Enterprise Mgr,
I can see the views but not the tables.

The views are at the end of the list. Have you looked all the way through
the list?
