Default URGENT|| Error:The step did not generate any output. Process Exit Code 0. The - 09-16-2003 , 04:42 AM

Hi,
I am invoking SQL Agent job as "SQLAgentCmdExec".
In this VB Application(Exe) is been invoked.
It executes. But expected result is not seen.Below msg
was found in job histroy.

"The step did not generate any output. Process Exit Code
0. The step succeeded."

My purpose is to print specific records from this VB
application. But when invoking this exe manually it works
fine. From job,it does not give the needed result.
any idea?

Thanks in advance,
Sachi

What does "print specific records" mean?

"Print" to the console so that they show up in the job history? VB does
not allow you to write information to the console

How can it work manually? What works?

If the EXE does not do the work you expect, have you got any errors
being raised? How are you handling errors in VB and are you logging
them?
