Default UNC and Batch File - 10-15-2006 , 05:41 PM

Hi,

We are running SQL Server 2000 on Windows 2003 server.

I have a DTS which tries to run a batch file stored on a different server.
When I created this DTS I used UNC to point to the batch file. During the
design time (at the time of designing the DTS) the DTS can see the batch
file. (I used the browse button to point to the batch file). But when I try
to run this DTS, I get "Access Denied" error.

BTW I am using ServiceAccount. The ServiceAccount is a domain account, and
it has access to both the servers.

Could someone help me get out of this problem.

Regards
Raja

Make sure you are using a user created share and not one of
the admin shares - those with a $ sign after the drive
letter.
