Default Unable to view jobs... - 11-18-2003 , 06:51 PM

Hello..

I am able to create dts packages... but i am unable to
schedule the dts packages. I know you have to be an sa
to schedule the jobs.. but why does it allow you to
create a dts package with your login being the owner..
but does not allow you to schedule them \ view them.

Are there certain server roles that i need to belong to
to view the jobs? or do i have to belong to the system
admistrators server role?

Please advise...

Cheers,
Brett

I am using SQL Server 2000

You can view jobs

You Create
Others create if a member of the TargetServersRole in msdb/sysadmin

How are you trying to schedule ?
Errors?
Did you refresh the jobs view?
