Default Transform Data Task fails - 03-08-2005 , 08:11 AM

Hi,
I am having a problem with Data Transform task
What I want to do is to transfer the records from an Oracle Database to a
delimited text file. The Table has 24 columns and around 5 million records.
The problem is that when I click the 'Define Columns' button in the
'Destination' tab of the Transform Data Task object, it fails and the
Enterprise manager is closed with giving any error message.

However when I tried the same on a source table with 10 columns and 400 rows
it transfers the data successfully.

Does this mean that the Transform Data Task has a limit of number of columns
that can be transformed?

Any Idea?

Thanks
Akber.

Install the newest SP, there is a bug that will truncate data more than 255
characters.
