Default text file connection - 07-02-2003 , 12:26 PM

I'm trying to copy the data from 1 file to another file.
When I create the task transform copy and specify the text
file name in the source tab and go to destination tab it
comes up with a dialog box which gives all the fields.
When I hit execute to define the same no. fields for the
destination it explodes (freezes and then sql server shuts
off). I have more than 170 fields in the file.

Works absolutely fine with text files that has below 50
fields.

Any suggestion. Please help.
