Default #Tables and DTS - 07-14-2006 , 10:03 AM

Hi

Is there a reason, why I wouldn't be able to transfer/export data, derived
from #Tables, in DTS?

Incidentally, the final query in the SP, is made up of a UNION statement,
should this also be a factor?

Kind Regards

Ricky

Hello Ricky,

You won't be able to see the # tables to do the mappings.

Why not create permanent working tables to do this? if you use the process
often then you will not incur the overhead of building the tables every time.

Hi Allan

thank you for your email, are you suggesting that I create a permanent table
and clear it down and re-populate it every time I want to run the DTS?

Kind Regards

Ricky
