Syntax error or access violation when selecting Parameter on Execute SQL Task

I'm getting a syntax error when trying to execute the
following command in the Execute SQL Task:
Execute SP_SchoolAttendanceLoad ?

Which version of SQL Server (and SP level)?
If you are using 2000 then have you mapped a Global Variable to the
parameter?
