Default Strip double quotes via SSIS - 03-26-2008 , 07:25 AM

I am using SSIS to import a CSV file into a SQL table. How do I strip the
double quote marks surrounding the strings in the CSV file? This seems like
a super-simple transformation but I can't figure it out.

Hi jmelkerson,

Assuming the double quotes are being used to denote text fields, you
can simply configure your flat file connection manager with double
quote as the text delimiter. This should automatically remove them
when reading the data.

Good luck!
