-----Original Message----- This one has me stumped. Please respond if you have any ideas on resolving this strange behavior.... I am getting weird errors when opening DTS packages or when saving a database maintenance plan in Enterprise Manager. We are running SQL Server 2000 with SP3. I created a DTS package with no tasks or conections defined. I get the same two error messages on the machine running SQL Server and a remote machine. The two 2 error messages are: Error msg #1: Error Source: Microsoft OLE DB Provider for SQL Server Error Description: [DBNETLIB] ConnectionRead(recv()).] General network error. Check you network documentation. Error msg #2: The Selected Package cannot be opened. The DTS designer has been closed. I get the following error message when saving a new database maintenance plan: Error 0: This server has been disconnected. You must reconnect to perform this operation. I can create, open and save stored procedures and tables. The websites are not displaying error messages. Query analyzer does not experience any problems. - Kevin . |
