Default SSIS witn SQL Job SQl 2005 - 02-27-2009 , 09:13 AM

Hi,

I create a package SSIS

da is my domaine Administrator

In Sql Server Managment Studio I execute the package and everything work
find if i am connected as sa or as da.

I create a job with windows Authentication with my da account to schedule
the execution of the package at a certain time of the day

I also create a job with Sql Authentication with my sa account to schedule
the execution of the package at a certain time of the day

When I execute the Job manually both job failed

In the History log I received this message
The Job failed The job was invoked by User sa
The Job failed The job was invoked by User da

I try to use the localsystem account for the SqlServerAgent and also the da
account

In both case the job failed
It was so easy in Sql server 2000 and so complicated in Sql Server 2005
What is the problem It seem to be a security problem but what?

If you have any idea please give me some hint

Thanks in advance!

Yes, it IS security based. The job was INVOKED by user 'sa' but what user
context was the job running under? Answer: the service accounts for either
SQL Agent or SSIS. Make sure these have the correct permissions to the
resources your SSIS package is accessing. Also, does your package have
connections with saved passwords? That could be another stumbling block.
