Hi,

We are seeing this message when try to import a fixed width text file into a
database table from a workstation running SQL2005 gold tools to an SQL2005
gold server. The messages we get are:-
Error 0xc00470fe: Data Flow Task: The product level is insufficient for
component '"Data Conversion 1" [51]. [Sql Server Import and Export Wizard]

We cannot work out if this is fixed in SP1 or is it just install SSIS on the
Client Workstation. Any ideas?

SP1 fixed this for me.

David,

Did you just upgrade the server or the client as well? The thread I included
seem to indicate that SSIS is also needed to be installed on the client. Did
you do this?
