Default SSIS FTP Remote File Delete - 08-01-2006 , 07:29 AM

Does SSIS FTP Remote File Delete work, or does it have a bug? I have tried a
very simple task both with file name explicitly specified, and in a variable
and it errors with "Unable to delete remote files using FTP Connection
Manager." Books Online suggests I should be able to delete remote files.
There is no possibility I have specified the filenames wrongly as I am able
to do other operations such as Receive files, Send Files. My suspicion is
that there is a bug. Can anyone confirm, or can someone tell me where I am
going wrong?

Mea culpa! I found out the reason... This ftp site was not configured for
write. The default has Write turned off. My original upload was to a
different ftp site.
