Hi Allan.

This is not what i need. This opteration requires full control rights on the
sql server.
I need a SSIS alike package that export/import a database and the users
rights is only on thier database.
Hope someone can help with this.

Hello Rune.,

By Copy/Move their databases do you mean the structure and data or do you
mean everything? What about new objects being created. How will you cope
with that?

Do the users get to choose the objects they move?

Hi Allan.,

Its only the structure and data i want to move to another server or a user
have a local database(Access, SQL, etc ) he wants to move to my SQL server.
With SSIS this works, but it requires a licens to use.
So what i am looking for is an util like myphpadmin for MYSQL.
Grant users to export/import.

Regards Rune.

Hello Rune.,

Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh so you want to take data from/to SQL Server from/to
somewhere else.

You will still be a client of SQL Server though if you are pulling or pushing
data to/from it so this will still incur a cost.
